Located in beautiful Durango, Colorado in the San Juan Mountains, St. Columba Catholic Montessori Preschool is committed to providing an authentic Montessori experience rooted in the Catholic tradition and inspired by the needs of the young child. At the core of our program is a deep reverence for the child and his own unique journey of "becoming." THE LITTLE WAY
St. Therese de Lisieux, a Carmelite nun, boldly desired to become a saint from a very young age, and discovered the little way
to God through her great humility. She recognized that holiness can be attained in daily and ordinary activities –– to do “little things with great love.” In the spirit of St. Therese, we too believe that small tasks accomplished with love and gratitude are transformative.

We offer two multi-age group classes from ages 3-5 years old.
